Project Description
Body: This package involved construction of a 990,000-gallon (4.5 million litre) reinforced concrete elevated reservoir and associated pipeline works of 400mm and 450mm diameter, addressing a critical increase in water demand in the Batu Kikir area, Kuala Jempol, Negeri Sembilan.
Scope Of Work
- Earthworks, site formation, roads, landscaping, surface drainage, and related external works
- Construction of a 4.5 million litre elevated reinforced concrete reservoir, including piling works
- Supply and installation of 400mm MSCL inlet pipe, approximately 1.5km, connecting to the existing water supply system
- Supply and installation of 450mm MSCL outlet pipe, approximately 2.5km, connecting to the existing water supply system
- Hot tapping works on the existing pipeline system
- Installation of pipes, valves, and valve chambers
- Slope stabilisation works using reinforced concrete retaining walls, approximately 150 metres
- Supply and installation of mechanical equipment, including water level monitoring systems and related accessories
- Electrical works, including lightning protection and area lighting systems
- Testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and overall system performance testing
Status Note
Body: This project was completed within the agreed timeframe and successfully commissioned. As of the time of writing, the defects liability period remains ongoing.
